Having fun with Shibuya square (渋谷区)

Not much of a post. Just having some fun. This is Shibuya square, shot from the upper-level of a Starbucks in Tokyo. The rain was coming down, and it was fun to catch the commuters with their umbrellas popped and scrambling to their offices.

This might be one of my all-time favorites on your blog. :-)

I love how there is no one lane of traffic and one lane of people crossing then taking turns with the other lane of traffic and other lane of pedestrians...instead all pedestrians go at once and then all cars go...allows for am organized free-for-all like when we would run under the silk parachute in gym class and try to get to the other side before it enveloped us.

Aww, this made me miss Japan in a lot of ways. Great video, thank you.
Now when the the typhoon winds really pick up... that's when you take the same video, set the music to something comical and laugh your tail off to Japanese trying to hold their umbrellas turned inside-out with a straight face.

I love watching this...and especially with the music you chose. It was poetry in motion. Smile.
